Walk to Save Animals '09

My human is so good about finding fun things for us to do on the weekends. To think it all started because I tended to be too distracted around other dogs, now it's like an addiction. She gets to take lots and lots of photos, chat with humans and eat junk food; I get tons of free treats and lots of loving.

This years' walk however was a cut a little shorter than usual. I wasn't feeling well, slightly bum leg and it was a tad chilly so my human didn't really want to stay out long anyways. Still we did go and humans' cousin joined us.

We went and perused the vendor's tables. Picked up the usual assortment of free treats and bones and chatted with a few people. We watched some hip-hop dancers start the walk portion of the day's events then we headed home so my human, her cousin, her aunt and uncle could go out for lunch.

Of course before we could leave we had to get in to the van and not to much surprise someone had parked right next to the van in the ramp zone. The vehicle invading our space didn't even have a handicapped plate or tag!

Normally there isn't much that can be done about this but this time her cousin spotted a park ranger I the distance and went off to find the authority figure. The park ranger was very nice and even wrote a citation for the offender.

After her cousin backed the van out so we could all get in we headed home to pick up the rest of the family and drop us doggies back off at the house.
