Veterans Day Parade
On Veterans Day my human decided we dogs would enjoy a parade. Truth be told my human knew nothing about the Parade until the evening before when Sandy sent her a text message. Yes the other humans name is Sandy but not spelled with an "i" like my name is.
Sandy and Kelly invited us to join them, Brea and Dalea (yes more AZG pups) at the parade. Naturally one can't seem to park anywhere near the parade route so my human found a little out of way place to park. I really mean out of the way to. Our little doggie legs were a blur as we raced along with the scooter down one street than another, across more streets until we arrived at the designated intersection.
There we ran in to a yappy group of beagles and some other little mix breed dog. Rather than run us past them while looking for our human and canine companions my human wisely used her phone and Kelly found us.
All four of us dogs got lots of petting and attention while waiting for the parade to start. In fact we got more attention and loving during the parade too. I guess the adoration of our fluffy cuteness never really stopped. None of us minded however.
Dalea being the youngest one in the pack was a little spooked by the whole event so she took cover under my humans' legs for awhile. Brea and I just chilled for the most part and Atlantis, well I just can't take that pup anywhere. She was happy as long as someone was paying attention to her. I don't think she even did sit down for more than two minutes at a time though.
After the parade we started to long jog back to the van then home to sleep off the morning excitement.
