I'm a sick puppy
It actually all started with Atlantis. So I can safely say, and I've wanted to say this for a long time: She started it. That's right, it was all her fault. Atlantis got sick one Saturday morning and she puked and puked and puked some more. She puked in her kennel, she puked in the kitchen and she puked in the office. Technically she puked in all those locations several times.
My human and her friend spent most of the day cleaning up her vomit. I spent most of the day in the kennel as my human was trying to keep me healthy. Poor Atlantis was miserable; she couldn't even drink water without retching. She didn't want to eat, not that I blame her. Though when she was starting to eat a little my human made chicken and rice for her instead of her usual dog food dinner. This I thought was totally unfair.
Sunday was rather uneventful as was most of Monday. Then Monday night I started puking. I christened my humans bedroom carpet with my gastric juices and partly digested meal. Then I puked again, and again. Unlike my young friend I know to go outside when it's time to vomit. Ok so that first one caught me off guard but after that I did very well. I would venture in to the kitchen to rest then back out the doggie door to hurl again. My human stayed up with me and even in the yard with me all night long. Each time I vomited my human would burry the vomit with the rocks and dirt to keep me from stepping in it or trying to lick it up.
Atlantis even gave a little upchuck that night, however it was likely due to all the excitement of seeing my human and I up and about all night long. My human wasn't thrilled about this, cleaning up yet more puke but she did it anyways.
We watched the sun come up together as I finally stopped puking. Then we both went to bed. Later the same day I got chicken and rice for breakfast too. It took several days for both Atlantis and I to fully recover and start eating dog food again but now we are healthy and spry once again.

Sandi being sick is no fun.. no matter what you might get to eat later. You have a nice human to stay up all night with you. It is also very nice of you dogs to share your illness. Isn't that what friends do?
